Fostering Regional Cooperation and Improved Media Standards
Project “Fostering Regional Cooperation and Improved Media Standards” by the Faktograf Association, funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), aims to cultivate innovative regional approaches that counteract the abuse of emerging technologies intended to subvert democratic processes.
Over a period of 15 months, starting from July 1, 2024, Faktograf will, among other activities, monitor AI-generated content on platforms, focusing on content that poses a threat to democracy in the region. Following our findings, Faktograf.hr will write news articles and publish regional reports in collaboration with the SEE Check network and create educational materials to help citizens better understand and recognize AI-generated content.
