Climate Facts Europe

Climate Facts Europe aims to increase cross-country collaboration in detecting, debunking and analysing climate disinformation across the EU while promoting the access of European citizens to verified climate information so they can make informed decisions in the lead up to the European elections 2024.

Leveraging the collective expertise of European fact-checking organisations that are verified members of the EFCSN Code of Standards, the EFCSN will coordinate a collaboration between at least 15 verified members with appropriate geographical distribution across Europe. This collaboration will collate, monitor, and analyse identified disinformation narratives and fact-checks related to climate change in a centralised database and platform.

The project is funded by European Climate Foundation.
