The European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) has launched a project focusing on the identification of AI-generated and digitally altered content.

As part of the project, experts in the field of artificial intelligence will educate network members, who will then produce a one-pager with the results of the education to disseminate knowledge to all those involved in recognizing misinformation in the public sphere. Additionally, ahead of the European elections, a public campaign will be conducted aimed at raising media literacy on the topic of artificial intelligence usage.

The project is co-funded by Meta.

Read the one-pager in Croatian and watch the video that explains how to identify and understand content generated by artificial intelligence or digitally altered content. Also, follow the live blog on the Faktograf.hr portal, which deals with AI disinformation.
